Notice of Lawsuit: Ford Motor Co.

 Longman Law, P.C., together with Kantrowitz, Goldhamer, Graifman, Perlmutter & Carballo, P.C., filed a lawsuit in federal court in California concerning false and misleading advertising about Ford’s Lincoln Corsair model years 2021-2025. The lawsuit alleges that Ford falsely marketed the Lincoln Corsair vehicles as being capable of "flat towing," a specialized feature that incentivized many customers to choose the Lincoln Corsair over comparable vehicles and hence increased the car’s sticker price and value.

Not until February of 2025 did Ford publicly admit that the Lincoln Corsair vehicles were not capable of safe "flat towing," and, even then, did not offer its Lincoln Corsair customers a full refund or provide a remedy to fix the problem, instead offering only a software update that removed the safety issue by eliminating the flat towing feature altogether.
