Notice of Lawsuit: Volkswagen

 Longman Law P.C., together with Migliaccio & Rathod LLP and Scott Hirsch Law Group, PLLC, filed a lawsuit in federal court in New Jersey against Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. concerning a defect found in 2021-2023 model year Volkswagen ID.4s. Despite Volkswagen touting the safety of these ID.4 models, the touch-sensitive-capacitive steering wheels are overly sensitive and engage Adaptive Cruise Control without the intention of the driver, causing sudden acceleration and dangerous crashes.

Despite the proliferation of these Volkswagen ID.4 accidents and the numerous customer complaints, Volkswagen has insisted that the accidents are due only to “driver error,” and has refused to compensate Volkswagen customers for their injuries or for damage to their vehicles resulting from the defect.
